I hate my life...

One night... ok, one week, of licking my hurt paw and my roomates slap this thing on me?! It's outrageous. I was able to get it off once, but they keep putting it back on. I am NOT happy...

4th of July

This year we took a camping trip up to Kings River for our long holiday weekend. I'm not a big fan of the fireworks, but fortunately there weren't very many up there. I ran around a lot with my friend Trucker, and spend the evenings relaxing in my camp chair by the fire...

The next day we went over to Ringo's house where my friend Emily was hanging out with her sister Ray. Emily and I had a fashion show. I don't really think purple is my color, but Emily liked them.After the fashion show I watched the soccer game with the girls and dad. It was a pretty fun weekend.

My BFF Trucker...

I made a new friend recently, Trucker. He's a puggle (pug-beagle mix) and just had his one year birthday. He has boundless energy, and he likes to play chase - my favorite game!

We played in the backyard all day last weekend while our dad's went dirt biking and left mom home to hang with us and get us things... She got a little mad when we started searching through her new flower bed - but it smelled so good in there! We were sure there must be something good underneath all that dirt...

After a big day in the yard mom finally let us come inside and play... and then we took a nap. It was a good day!

My new favorite food...

So we had a BBQ this weekend at the house. Mom said it was because my Aunt Cristen came to visit, but I know that everyone really just came to see me...
Mom kept trying to get everyone to eat this giant watermelon that she bought, and I kept trying to tell her I couldn't reach the bowl. Luckily, dad helped me out...

Learning to Drive...

So even though going for rides in the car is fun, I really think I would prefer driving. Then I could go where I want - like Petco. Cause you know, that's where the pets go... The only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to steer and push the pedals at the same time...

Christmas Toy

So for Christmas this year, I made out pretty well - I always love getting new toys, i like to see how quickly I can rip them apart. My favorite though was my new rope toy - it takes a lot of chewing and sometimes I get tired, so I just use it as a pillow- but I love it.

Uh-Oh

Well, I have some bad news to report. Apparently, my roomates decided they want to take leadership of the pack away from me. I try to be a good leader around here, but I guess they think they know better. I found this new book under the Christmas tree... I'm going to have to wait until no one is looking and chew it up.

My own blogspot - it's about time

Hi Everyone - this is my first blog post. Mom and Dad have been posting all about my supposed antics, and I figured it was time to tell my side of the story - so this is my blogspot.

Today was a pretty good day - I took mom and dad for a walk. It took a lot of convincing, because it's been pretty cold out lately, and they are pretty wimpy. But they finally let me out and I had a good time exploring the hood, letting all the other dogs know I was out and about.

When we got home I finished killing the giraffe my mom and aunt Sara bought me last weekend. It was a pretty good toy, but no match for my hunting skills. I made sure to scatter stuffing all over the house for mom. I know she likes that.

Then I had some dinner - Eukanuba tonight - way to go mom! and a couple ice cubes for dessert. It was a pretty good day all in all - and now I have my blog to write all about it!
